I was the type of person who absolutely hated going to a dentist office. Two years ago, I was recommended to Dr. Richman’s office from a friend. At the time, I had terrible pain, and I just knew I was going to be heading for something major. So, I made my first appointment. It turned out that I required an extraction and root canal work. Sitting in the chair, my only thought was what was coming pain, multiple visits, etc., etc., etc. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I walked out of the office pain free, and left with such a high first impression of the office.
First, I was impressed with the technologic state of the art office new dental techniques and equipment. Second, the professionalism and care of the staff made me very comfortable, and third, the time each Doctor took to explain to me the problem and how to treat the problem reassured me. During the procedure, there was constant concern that I was comfortable and not experiencing any unnecessary pain. Needless to say, I completely changed my opinion about going to a Dentist. So much so, that I immediately pursued my interest in having cosmetic dentistry done.
As a child, I was given certain medication that literally turned my teeth a yellow/green color. I always hated the fact that not only were my teeth not white, but their shape wasn’t great either. I consulted with Dr. Richman on what could be done. He explained to me the process. It sounded to me like 3 simple steps: take impressions, shape the teeth, and get a transformed look. I decided to start the process. We started with my top teeth 3 visits done. And the results were SPECTACULAR. I couldn’t believe the person facing me in the mirror. Besides the hundreds of compliments I receive not compliments like “your teeth look great,” but rather “You have such a great smile.” More important from the compliments is what the transformation means to me. I am more confident in my smile, in talking and not thinking that people are looking at what I consider ugly looking teeth. As a business executive, talking to clients is a big part of my business. So having my confidence improve, serves me well. And, my opinion of Dr. Richman well, what can I say, I consider him a genius in cosmetic dentistry. Sure, I expected to see a change but his work far surpassed my expectation. His dedication, skill and meticulous work to improve the shape and color of my teeth, leaves me speechless. And if the office so chooses to post my personal pre and post pictures they have my complete permission.
Dr. Richman’s practice is my dental care office for life!!! The staff Nina, Kerri, Allison and Shanti is the best. Dr. Jackie Nussbaum, Periodontist love her!! She cares for the health of my gums. Her treatments are refreshing, complete and her gentleness is so much appreciated.
I love the office. I trust the doctors, and I value their skill and expertise. And I recommend the office to everyone.

My mouth was a mess when I came to Smiles Unlimited for the first time, but both Dr. Richman and the other specialists have been wonderful at making me healthy. Not only did they take the time to explain to me all of the procedures in detail, but they were also terrific about checking on me afterwards. I am very pleased with the teeth whitening procedure (Zoom) that Smiles Unlimited did for me. The process was painless and easy and was completely finished in an hour and a half. The next day at work, several of my co-workers even commented on how white my teeth looked and how bright my smile was!
