I am very scared of going to the dentist. What do you do to help anxious patients?
Smiles Unlimited is well-versed in helping patients who experience anxiety about going to the dentist. For starters, we have a very calm atmosphere in the office and our doctors and staff are extremely patient with those who are afraid of being treated. But, the main reason nervous patients love coming to Smiles Unlimited is Dr. Max, our medical therapy dog, who will sit in their lap during their dental treatment. Dr. Max is sweet and affectionate, and anxious patients love cuddling with him to ease their anxiety.
What does it mean when you say you are a multi-disciplinary office?
Smiles Unlimited is a multi-disciplinary office, which means that in addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, we have specialists on staff to fulfil all of our patients’ needs under one roof. Specialists include: Endodontist (Root Canal Specialist), Periodontist (Gum Specialist), Orthodontist (Braces), Oral Surgeon (Extractions and Implant Dentistry) and Hygienist (Cleanings). This allows for more streamlined and efficient treatment between all phases of dentistry.
